Corey Brown
|
| Arguably the best jockey in Sydney (if not Australia) right now, racing has not always been kind to Corey. Suspensions, involvement at just 16 in a fatal riding accident and a heartbreaking last stride defeat in the 2008 Melbourne Cup on Bauer were all setbacks that might have crushed other jockeys. But Corey struck back magnificently in this year’s Melbourne Cup, winning the nation’s biggest race on Shocking along with the Victoria Derby and Emirate Stakes in an amazing 2 week period. Don’t know if he can play, but he sure knows how to win! |
